It was important to us to find a name for the water which conveyed and inspired joy, love, and compassion. With this intention in mind, the name Mélavia was inspired during meditation and instantly recognized as the name to use.

Structured water refers to shifting the structure of the H2O clusters to optimize the hydration capability. The structured water of Mélavia consists of smaller H2O cluster sizes that allows for greater cellular absorption and hydration. The majority of purified and reverse osmosis waters have very large molecular clusters. Drinking purified or reverse osmosis water can often lead to dehydration because the cluster sizes are too large to effectively breakdown and allow the molecules to pass through the aquaporin channels one at a time and properly hydrate the cells.

As a result of the better hydration that Mélavia provides, minerals and other nutrients can be more effectively absorbed and utilized by the cells. Proper cellular hydration detoxifies the cells and can consequently balance the pH level of the body.

Artesian water refers to the source being an underground aquifer. The source of Mélavia is a naturally protected underground aquifer just outside of Sedona, Arizona. Mélavia is bottled at the source without exposure to sunlight or environmental toxins.

Unless naturally sourced water is bottled at the source, the water is treated with chlorine for transportation purposes.

Intention charged literally means charging the water with Mélavia’s stated intention. The idea of intention charging the water was inspired by the work of Dr. Masuru Emoto on the subject of energetics, intent, and prayer. Dr. Emoto’s work photographically demonstrated the actual crystalline structure of water being transformed by positive intent. Mélavia is charged with the intention of illumination and light for enhanced consciousness.

Mélavia is naturally alkaline with a pH of 7.9. The fact that Melavia is naturally alkaline is important because adding substances to the water to increase the alkalinity can increase cellular dehydration.
